Midnight Music - Ethan Bortnick
Genuine once-in-a-generation talent, coming into their own
Ethan Bortnick is a child musical prodigy, who was the youngest artist to have a PBS Concert special, at the age of 9. He became the youngest headliner of a solo show in Vegas, at the age of 11. He’s done everything from open for Nelly Furtado, to have a music/variety show for preschoolers. Bortnick isn’t a name Millennials are familiar with , but your kids were hoping their nightly Omegle or Chat Roulette session included him. Because he’s been promoting singles by “Oh can I play you 30 seconds of a song I wrote” to people who stumble upon his stream/Omegle, and then blowing their minds:
This went on until he became a legend that Gen Z’ers would actively celebrate when coming across.
“Bro…bro…yes! I know, he doesn’t know" is such a powerful proof that people are excited for your work, they should study it at Harvard Business School. The kid is less young now, more polished, but still finding his feet as a performing, touring musician and artist.
But with 1M+ subscribers, and 8.1M views on his last hit single, he probably doesn’t need tips from old cynics or record A&Rs who don’t understand the new world. He’s going to be just fine, and push into pop culture with a hit or two soon enough.
He’s touring, so if you want to see how Gen Z parties, and you like the music, it could be a good time.
